In a startling diversion from normal journalist practice, the Nevada news media reported today that four people protested some multiple thousands who enjoy the Reno Rodeo each year.
The four, who managed to get widespread coverage for their protest, were give two direct quotes:
“They perpetuate animal cruelty,” said Renee Carigilia of Reno-based Citizens for Animal Rights. [...]

The Reno Gazette-Journal is reporting that former University of Nevada, Reno president John Lilley may be getting ousted from his post at Baylor University in Texas.
Baylor officials declined to comment, citing it being a “personnel matter,” but sources close to Lilley said that the Baylor community was mourning the possibility of losing their respected leader.
