Yes, folks, that headline is actually stolen right from the paper itself. I’m not really sure what I can say, other that to explain, perhaps.
“What was originally reported to be a body in the Truckee River, then thought to be a mannequin, has turned out to be a body.”
Ahh, the perils of UP TO THE SECOND news updates. You screw up multiple times before posting the actual headline that draws ridicule. Except, I didn’t see any of the speculative headlines, so that makes this even better. Nice going, RGJ.
