After former University of Nevada, Reno professor, Hussein Hussein, filed 234 lawsuits against the University of Nevada, Reno, progress on those suits was finally made last week when a judge dismissed two of the suits because the judge apparently failed to see, that by filing so many suits, the grand total of those suits must mean that each one has merit.

This comes just after seven lawsuits were previously dismissed, and Hussein and his attorney were fined more than $50,000 in contempt-of-court charges.

Hussein’s attorney, Jeffrey Dickerson, called U.S. District Judge James Mahan an “ign’ant-ass prick,” after the ruling, but he quickly back-pedaled on his comment by extolling his true respect for the federal judicial system.

“I [heart] the federal court,” he said in a prepared text message sent by his Crackberry(tm) just after Mahan handed Dickerson his own ass for filing what he said were frivolous complaints.

Dickerson, who is most noted for a career of convincing his clients of the merits of their legal complaints, even when judges appear to disagree, and who also has a striking win-loss record,  said that since the two suits were dismissed, he and his client would file 200 more against the university, vowing this time not to stop at suing half of the faculty, all of UNR’s administrators and some students.

“We’re now going after every single alum of the university as well as everyone who lives within a half-mile radius of campus,” Dickerson said. “If there’s a conspiracy out there, we will find it. If not, we’ll make one up and ultimately win a case.”

Hussein, an internationally known filer of lawsuits, was a faculty member at UNR until recently. Hussein said the setback was just continued retaliation, this time from the good old boys in the federal judiciary who are known to hold midnight spooning sessions with the university’s hired-gun attorneys.
